I am doing PhD on fruit fly eye and wanted to make some figure for my research paper. I started simple doodling exercise in photoshop and illustrator but soon converted this work into finer project. I made various poses of Drosophila melanogaster, however was not satisfy with art work. Then one day I came across ‘Geometric Beasts Series’ by Kerby Rosanes and got idea for my current project. This led to making of “Fly and the Machine” project. Project name was suggested by Pritha Ghosh.
